Marxism Is Satanic I

In school you were probably indoctrinated with one or both of two historiologies: the accidental and the progressivist theory of history. Both require great leaps of faith. The accidental theory of how history operates is premised upon scientific materialism, if it is premised upon anything at all. Proteins and amino acids bumped together in puddles until they made DNA then one day, poof! The Holy Roman Empire. It’s always struck me how much doublethink is required for such an outlandish philosophy of how history operates, and the low value this belief system places on human life. According to this faith, you’re a well-behaved monkey.… Read the rest

Why I am a Christian

It may seem incongruous that a blog which is all about empirical thinking and the eradication of political dogma would be written by a Christian. It would be incongruous if Christian belief is a philosophical position. It is not. Christian belief is completely irrational, and by any rational standard is completely insane. A benevolent creator God, separated from us by our sin, loves us so much he sent his son (who is also God) to die as expiation for all the sins of the world so that all who believed on him would be credited with his righteousness and restored to a direct relationship with God.… Read the rest

The Bible is not about punishment though; it is about redemption. It’s a letter from God explaining his plan to fix everything back to how he first intended it because he loves you so much. The image of God as harsh and cruel is an old Gnostic lie that we see throughout our culture.… Read the rest

It occurs to me that Bangladesh doesn’t have a migrant crisis. Why is that?

There are many reasons that I have encountered for why the West has been subject to mass immigration for the last 40 years. Some, quite correctly, cite the suicidal welfare polices which encourage miscegenation. Some point to demographic trends, for which the evidence is not so clear. They’re not paying to be smuggled to Siberia. Some people think it’s wheat. Some people, again I think correctly, point to the masochistic mentality of our Cultural Marxist elites who see Western culture as the root of all evil and want to see it destroyed so tolerance will break out in the world.  … Read the rest
