The Bubble of the Ages

We are at the peak of a 5000-year bubble in government. Like all bubbles, this one will burst. When it does, our world will become unrecognisable.

How can I say we are at the top of an inter-millenial government bubble? Interest rates.

Throughout history, interest rates have never been as low as they are now. Central banks around the world have kept interest rates at or near 0% since the world economy had a cardiac arrest in 2008. The problem then was bad debt, and they papered over it and socialised the losses. The propaganda has been telling us that the unprecedentedly-low interest rates were to stimulate the world economy and bring about a ‘recovery’.… Read the rest

You Don’t Need to Pay Taxes

Why do Western rulers confiscate around half of the earned income of the productive members of society when they could just print it? In an age of fiat currency, it makes no sense at all.

It makes no sense unless you still believe your pre-programmed narrative of socialist redistribution – that you need to pay your fair share to help those less fortunate than you. If you believe that Marxist drivel, you’re in the wrong place. I thought I earn my pittance because I studied hard, get up early, was prudent and don’t headbutt my sociopath witch of a boss. It’s not fortune that makes the middle class.… Read the rest

Mind Idols

The great, grand conspiracy with no conspirators

is pregnant now to burst,

and the wicked seeds planted in a million classrooms

are bringing their harvest of hurt.

The Enemy is clever.

Preying on the weakness and vanity of men

he’s arranged history as a line of false lessons,

to bewitch young minds with false delight

and mark hell as the way to heaven.

No more golden calves for him.

False religion now is mental

and has evolved into ideologies,

a fifth column of the mind

that he’s used to destroy the heart.

The humans are blind to his tricks.

Conceited that we are masters of all

we’ve become hurt slaves to hate,

imbibing poisons of the mind

and rejecting Him who waits.… Read the rest

You Have No Rights

Modern man has many delusions, some more pernicious than others. Surely one of the foggiest and most dangerous beliefs that pertain in our wretched age is that foundational doctrine of liberalism: that men have rights.

This dogmatic belief is so widely held and so rarely noticed that its consequences are invisible to most. They are everywhere, though. We see it in the entitled mentality of aggrieved minorities, who demand that statues of old ‘racists’ be removed from universities. The noisy brownish brats clamouring for such historical revisionism would be shocked, shocked at the charge that they are just asserting another form of ethnic supremacy.… Read the rest

Love is not a Feeling

We are a civilisation which lives by feelings. It’s built into the zeitgeist. It’s also the greatest cause of suffering in the world.

OK, that’s a big call. If you’re a slave in Kim Jong-un’s harem, living by feelings is probably not the most unpleasant thing you experience. You probably try to avoid feeling anything at all.

Perhaps at school your history teachers took a break from bashing up on crackers and mentioned the Renaissance. If so, you no doubt received the Party Line about it – that the rebirth of classical Graeco-Roman culture was an unadulterated good, breaking open the fusty hidebound traditionalism of medieval Europe and birthing glorious modernity with its glorious revolutions.… Read the rest

What is Culture?

If you asked a typical 21st century serf what they think culture is, they’ll probably say something about the characteristics that make up a people (not so succinctly and with fewer syllables, and they might need to Google. But that will be the gist). If a crowd of proles overheard, they would probably agree, while maybe adding something about spicy food.

They’re wrong. Culture is not identity. It is not cuisine, language, fashion or which side of the road you drive on. It has much more to do with whether you have roads at all.

Our word culture comes (circuitously, as always) from the Latin cultura meaning cultivation or agriculture.… Read the rest

Why Leftists Play the Man & not the Ball

If you’re a crusader for common sense and enjoy debating leftists, stop. It’s a Sysiphean habit that only feeds their delusion. Don’t debate leftists. Attack them morally. It’s the only way we can help with the turning of the tide against them.

As an aside, I know there’s no point trying to beat leftism. It is hegemonic, omnipresent and completely out of control. It will be destroyed only once it has destroyed its host, our civilisation (which will be very soon). The point of defeating leftist ideas, however, is to win undecided spectators over to our side to help with the restoration after the collapse.… Read the rest

The State is not your Kin

Why are our fellow peasants mentally disturbed, our relationships cold, our families broken, our communities dissolved and civility disappearing from our lives? Because the state replaced the family.

Now I’m no fan of family personally. Mine was worse than a Romanian orphanage, and I know many people whose experiences were similar. But there’s a reason for that. Once families lost their natural function, they necessarily ceased to function. Many became breeding grounds for personality disorders and incubators for the gibsmedats and dindunuffins who populate our underclass. How did this happen? Indeed, why do we have an underclass?

It was socialism. Since the first humans were created by God/crawled down from the trees/both/whatever, we have survived by relying on kinship networks.… Read the rest

Who is the Oligarchy?

As you are no doubt aware, politics is the puppet show put on for us peasants by the puppeteer oligarchs. But who are the oligarchy exactly?

All republican or representative forms of government are actually oligarchies, or very quickly become them. Rome had several rebellions by the proles during its early republican history until they were given the tribunate to represent their interests politically. Even this position was abrogated by the patricians over time, and became part of the bundle of offices the emperors used to justify their supreme authority. This followed two centuries of disastrous civil wars caused by infighting among oligarchic factions.… Read the rest

Why I am a Christian

It may seem incongruous that a blog which is all about empirical thinking and the eradication of political dogma would be written by a Christian. It would be incongruous if Christian belief is a philosophical position. It is not. Christian belief is completely irrational, and by any rational standard is completely insane. A benevolent creator God, separated from us by our sin, loves us so much he sent his son (who is also God) to die as expiation for all the sins of the world so that all who believed on him would be credited with his righteousness and restored to a direct relationship with God.… Read the rest
